The Orbea Avant M30Team-D is an endurance road bike that will help you stay comfortable go fast for miles on end. Climbs, descents, and bad road conditions are all fun challenges on the Avant. The frame of the Avant is made with Orbea’s endurance oriented OMP monocoque carbon fiber. High-modulus fibers are combined with high-strength fibers to create a lightweight frame that will help you climb faster and ride longer. This blend gives the Avant an excellent stiffness to weight ratio. Bladder-molded polyurethane is used to make the headtube and bottom bracket inserts which eliminates wrinkles in critical areas. Through this layup process, less carbon is used for a lower weight while still maintaining the strength you need in an endurance bike. This gives riders a bike that is light, stiff, and powerful on pavement, grave, or other tough terrain.

Endurance geometry is utilized on the Orbea Avant for additional comfort on a fast ride. Orbea’s Endurance Position is higher and less aggressive than the Orca position. A higher handlebar and a shorter reach make for a more comfortable ride with the proper ergonomics to help you ride further. The frame’s shape focuses on distance and stamina over aerodynamics. Precise and intuitive handling are also a big focus of the Avant build. The angles and dimensions of the frame are carefully refined across each frame size to assure the proper fit and comfort for every rider.

The Avant fork has a shallow and rounded blade profile with longer fork legs. It also comes with extra tire clearance in case you want to take your bike on more challenging terrain than a smooth road. A combination of elasticity and torsional stiffness rounds out a diverse fork. The axle to crown height is offset by a shorter headtube to maintain stack measurement and improve aesthetics. The Orbea Avant is flexible and practical with extra vibration dissipation to avoid unnecessary fatigue on a long ride.
